Why service your vehicle with us?
It would be rude to assume that you would just automatically bring your vehicle to Royal South Toyota for repair or service. It would be in your best interest to have your Toyota vehicle serviced by people that are factory-trained to handle your repair needs. We have the knowledge of the latest methods to repair anything you can bring to us. Additionally, when you have your vehicle serviced at the Royal South Toyota Service Department, we will only use factory-approved original manufacturer equipment.
For mechanically uninclined, original manufacturer equipment would be anything that Toyota (or any other automaker) builds or license to have built. That means we will use the same parts in all of our repairs that the factory would use to build the car as it rolls along the assembly line. If the factory saw fit to use these parts in the original build, it doesn’t make sense for us to make that change.
The Royal South Toyota Service Department guarantees all of our work. We know that you need your vehicle to perform all of the functions of your life. We also know that you have better things to do than stand around and wait for things to be finished. Even though we have an outstanding waiting area, we promise to get your vehicle back to you as quickly as possible. More importantly we promise to get it done right the first time.
How Important Is Regular Service?
We cannot overstate how important it is to have your vehicle in for regular maintenance. Granted many cars can go longer between service intervals than some older ones, this doesn’t mean you have license to ignore maintenance altogether. Each brand new or used Toyota vehicle that is sold or leased from Royal South Toyota has an owner’s manual in the glovebox. That manual lays out exactly when each component or system needs to serviced or replaced.
We have a huge selection of parts in stock. But it’s possible that we won’t have the exact part you need today. (After all, anything is possible, right?) The good news is, even if we can’t come up with it today, we can order it for you and have it in your hands in almost no time at all!
One of the places in regular maintenance that people push the boundaries is with oil changes. Oil is, arguably, the single most important fluid that runs through a vehicle. It provides lubrication and heat dissipation for the engine. Without it, or with old and broken oil, the metal parts will begin to touch and get hot. This can lead to catastrophic failure and damage that can’t be repaired. Making sure the oil filters are replaced at the same time is very important to ensure contaminants don’t find their way to where they shouldn’t be found.
This is another reason to point out why using only factory-approved original manufacturer equipment is so important. Modern automobiles are very intricately build machines with vehicle tight tolerances. OEM parts are specifically built to fit those tight tolerances. By using aftermarket parts, the chances increase for something to be out of alignment and something bad could happen, like having a warranty voided.
